Dive Sites

We offer a number of dive sites along the east coast of Fuerteventura ranging from shallow, rocky reefs to deep walls and canyons, so we have something to suit all abilities. Some of our most popular sites are :-

El Jablito - This is a safe, sheltered beach access ( which we can dive at all times whatever the weather is like ), with a gradual sloping bottom consisting of a mixture of rocky and sandy patches. It is suitable for training dives, divers wanting a nice relaxed dive, divers who have been out of the water for a while, and anyone wanting to see a wide variety of marine life. This site has resident schools of bream, parrotfish, barracudas, damselfish, wrasse, amongst others, and is a breeding ground for the elusive Sea Hare.

The Canyons - offers a deeper dive down to 20 meters, and follows the line of a rocky wall. There is a swim-through at the furthest point, and numerous inlets along the way which are home to Stingrays, Angel Sharks and Butterfly Rays. Along the top of the wall you also find “clouds” of damselfish and moray eels hiding in the rocky crevaces.

Miguel’s Rock - is a classic example of the volcanic scenery that you will find along the coast of Fuerteventura. It is a deeper dive to 30 meters, for the more experienced, and is a large, flat-topped rock sitting in a sandy plateau. On the deepest side, it drops off over a vertical cliff to the sand below where we see a “field” of Garden Conger Eels.

Las Salinas - is another of our more experienced dives involving a giant stride entry from the rocks, descending onto a landscape of walls and picturesque canyons. The dive reaches a depth beyond 40 meters, but divers are limited to the level of their qualification. There are a couple of swim throughs on this dive, and often you will glimpse bigger marine life such as Jacks, Barracudas, Octopus and Soles.

Just round the corner is our dive site Oasis, which is a pebble beach entry, and we follow the line of the bottom of the cliffs, often seeing “clouds” of Bream, Damselfish and Sardines. At set times of year, we have seen over 8 Angel Sharks in one dive at this site.

We offer daily DOUBLE DIVES each morning, leaving Corralejo at 0930 and returning around 1330, or afternoon SINGLE DIVES leaving 1430 and returning around 1700. We charge 70 euros for the double dives and 40 euros for the single dives. Both of these prices include all equipment hire and transport to/from Corralejo. Discounts are available if you book a dive package or have your own full dive equipment.
